Shoulder Tattoo

There are two areas on the shoulder a tattoo can be and still be classified as a shoulder tattoo: on the back of the shoulder on or near the shoulder blade, and on the upper arm part of the shoulder. Getting a tattoo on either part of the shoulder looks good, and they are both easily hidden in instances where having a tattoo is not appropriate. Men have traditionally had more aggressive tattoo designs on the shoulder area. Skulls, tigers, and drags are popular tattoo designs for men’s shoulders and upper arms. However, women’s shoulder tattoo designs are much less aggressive and more feminine and sexy. Shooting stars, dolphins, tribal designs, and zodiac symbols are all very popular designs for a woman’s shoulder tattoo. They all project a different image, depending on the woman. For example, a Dolphin design give a sense of playfulness and beauty, while a woman with her zodiac on display shows that she is proud of who she is. Choosing which shoulder tattoo design is right yields a lot of choices. The shoulder tattoo in the picture is a classic example of a male shoulder tattoo with the main component of it being a human skull. But, I think the artist also did a fine job in making it more unique by the addition of a floral motif. I think it looks fabulous.

A lot of people decide to get a shoulder tattoo. In fact, this just might be the most common place on the body for a persons first tattoo. I know it was for both myself and my brother. And this shoulder tattoo is similar to the one both of us got, in as much as it is on the upper back part of the shoulder. Shoulder tattoos can be a bit painful to get but it’s really not too bad. And it goes away soon enough.

This is a rather pretty shoulder tattoo that appears to be small red apple blossoms. At least that’s what it appears to be. And that’s cool. As I remember apple blossoms signify renewal, a fresh start at life, a new beginning and all that sort of good stuff. Maybe all that it means is hey, don’t these flowers look pretty on my shoulder? When it comes right down to it nothing else matters. And girls, don’t let your men tell you that a shoulder tattoo is too masculine. I have seen thousands of them on women that are extremely sexy and not masculine at all. It’s your body, you decide, period.
