Cherry Blossom Tattoo

Cherry Blossom Tattoo
There are few designs which are as delicate and beautiful as the cherry blossom tattoo. In Asian cultures, particularly Japan, cherry blossoms are metaphors for life. Cherry blossom is a symbol of female beauty and sexuality. Additionally, the cherry blossom is the Chinese symbol of feminine principal it also symbolized love in the language of herbs. Bushido, the samurai’s code, takes the cherry blossom tattoo as its emblem. The blooming of the cherry tree is the purest manifestation of beauty in Japanese culture, but then the blossom swiftly fades and is scattered by the wind. This is the perfect death for a true warrior, who has lived with constant awareness and acceptance of the precariousness and transitory nature of existence. The cherry blossom tattoo is often placed on the shoulders, the legs or the nape of the neck. As shown in the photo it is also placed on the foot and the ankle. It can be placed as a single blossom though usually it’s arranged in groups or clusters. Though it may initially appear as a very feminine design, the cherry blossom tattoo can be worn by men equally as well as women. It’s delicate and sensual nature is the perfect adornment for just about anybody.
Cherry Blossom Tattoo
I like the way this tattoo curves and flows with the natural contours of the woman’s shoulder. A tattoo like this is a very good way to inspire someone like me. I have been deliberating for almost five years now about getting a tattoo like this. Looking at this great piece of art makes me want to rush out and get one. The cherry blossom tattoo I want is just like this but has a little mountain and the moon in the background. The one I saw was really neat, it made you feel good just looking at it. I think the artist that did this one was on cloud nine when they drew this great tattoo.
Anytime you can do a nice tattoo utilizing parts of nature, it is a feel good situation for the artist and the client. Sometimes with a cherry blossom tattoo you can almost rub your hand across it and feel the blossoms and the bark of the tree. That’s what you want out of a cherry blossom tattoo that is done in a three dimensional format. You want someone to walk up and have the need to reach out and touch the tattoo, just to see if it’s real or not. You know the cherry color in this cherry blossom tattoo is very sweet, between a redish and a light pinkish color I have not seen before.
